Hannah Levin (she/her) is a writer, filmmaker, and actor based in Los Angeles. She creates comedies that explore power dynamics and the complexities between independence and community. She's the creator, writer, director, and star of Significant Others Show: a scripted web series produced by Stapleview, dropping February 2026. She also has a comedy feature in development with Limelight (Roofman, Palm Springs).

Hannah wrote, directed, and starred in Golden Child: a dark comedy short film that had its World Premiere at Aspen Shortsfest in April 2024. The short had a successful festival run and played the Seattle International Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, HollyShorts Film Festival, The Future of Film is Female’s NYC shorts night, among others. It won Best Comedy Short Film at the 13th Best of NewFilmmakers Los Angeles Awards, too. Golden Child had its online premiere with Short of the Week, Directors Notes, and Omeleto.

Hannah has also worked on shows like The Sex Lives of College Girls (HBOMax) and assisted comedy writers on overall deals at 20th Television, helping with all aspects of script development. Additionally, Hannah served as an Executive Producer on Fintech, an independent pilot written/directed by Mekki Leeper (Jury Duty), which screened across the U.S. in fall 2023.

Hannah is a graduate of Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Film Studies and English. A decorated athlete as well, Hannah received the Most Improved Player award for her mediocre but effortful contributions to her fifth-grade field hockey team.
